Can I Use The 18,000 BTU Furrion System In Replacement Of My Dometic?

Question:

I have a Winnebago Micro Minnie 2106FBS with a Dometic Mfg B59516.711J0 ser 80822917 15,000 BTU that is very loud. Will your Furrion Chill Cube 18000 work for a quiet replacement? Mine is ducted but can I use the ductless? THANKS

Hey David,

Yes! You can change the system in your trailer to the Furrion Chill Cube # FR39TD. Since components of RV AC systems are not compatible with other brands you will need to change the entire system out, that Furrion 18,000 BTU is a ducted system as well. It is going to be quieter than your Dometic system, Furrion is the quietest system that we carry. That kit comes with everything needed to replace that AC system.

Does your Dometic have a wall thermostat or a manual distribution box?

It has a wall thermostat, but no manual distribution box. I think you have a location in Waynesville, NC that I could pick whatever items I need up at. I live in Franklin, NC Thanks for your help.
