Question:
Hi, I have an old, custom built utility trailer with 1-3/4 wide leaf springs. I need a pair of add-a-leafs, but for some reason I cannot find them. If you carry them, can you provide a part number for me?

Hello Ed,
I am sorry but we do not have add a leaf for trailers. I recommend that you get new leaf springs. If you could please let me know what your axle capacity is, and the eye to eye measurement on your leaf spring while unloaded, I am happy to find the right leaf spring for you. Your measurement will most likely be longer than what you actually need as they do flatten over time.
For example: if your axle is 3,500 pounds, and you get a measurement around 26", you will need the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles - 25-1/8" Long # e54SR.
Did you custom build this trailer yourself?

Thanks for the response, Kate! I didn't built it and I'm learning as I go, so I'm unsure about the axle capacity. It has a 5-leaf double-eye spring pack and it's 36" from eye-to-eye. I see from my research that it is a much longer spring pack than anything for a trailer, so I'm guessing it was from something like an old Jeep. If you have a 36" long, double-eye, 1.75" wide spring pack, OR an add a leaf for that spec, I'd love to know! Thanks! Ed
