Fold Down RV Step Recommendation for Doorway Height of 22-1/2 inch
Updated 08/07/2025 | Published 07/03/2025 >
Question:
Looking at your step above trailer steps for my van conversion. My rise from ground to top of floor is 22-1/2. There is no threshold, but a 3/4 threshold could be installed if necessary. Do you have any steps that fit that height?

Hey Marc, for a doorway height as low as yours you'd need to go with the Lippert Solidstep part # LC733931 which can fit doorway entry heights of 22 to 28 inch and doorway widths of 25" - 28-7/8". The SolidStep is very similar to the Stepabove so it will work great for you.
