We just bought a 2024 Ram 2500. Has a short bed. We pull a 38ft fifth wheel. Which hitch to you recommend? Is there a brand better for use?

Hello James, thanks for reaching out. Does your 2024 Ram 2500 short bed have the OEM 5th wheel puck system? Or is there nothing in the bed currently? Let me know because this will determine the mounting style and available options for your truck.
If you do have the OEM puck system, the best 5th wheel hitch you can buy is the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch. It will be hands down the best as far as durability and functionality.
Since your bed is shorter than 8' we do recommend using the slider hitch part # BWRVK3670. The slider moves the king pin back 12" and helps with clearance on tight turns.
