How Much Does The MaxxFan Delux Roof Vent MA00-07500K Weigh?

Question:
Can you provide the installed weight of the MaxxFan Deluxe 7500K? The manufacturer only offers shipping weight and I am concerned about roof loading with solar panels and a/c.

Hi Gene!
We have the MaxxFan Delux Roof Vent # MA00-07500K listed as 17.7 pounds. I would imagine that is also the shipping weight, but these come in fairly substantial boxes, so I would subtract about 2 pounds to get to the actual weight if the item on its own. Call it 15.5 pounds.

Hi Gene, Did you decide to add the MaxxFan Deluxe to your roof, or are you replacing an existing vent? I'm asking to see if the weight adjustment worked for your setup, as it could help others with similar concerns.
