Which Furrion Chill Cube AC Units for Two Ducted Setups of RV

Updated 06/19/2025 | Published 06/12/2025

Question:

I am interested in two furion chill cubes I. White. I have a ducted system. What do I need? Also, since Icurrently have heat pumps. I assume these don’t heat so I would be using the furnace and propane, what do I need to know?

Hey Andrew, the Furrion Chill Cube part # FR69TD would be what you would want as this is the kit designed to fit ducted applications like yours. This does not have a heat pump available yet but we've been told that one is coming so in future you could upgrade it. The thermostat is compatible with furnaces so yes you would still be able to use your furnace. Aside from that though the # FR69TD comes with everything you'd need to install.

How did you like the heat pump in your current AC though.

Thank you. I don’t use the heat that often in my RV but I prefer the propane heat to the heat pump. I am wondering if I should even care about the heat pump.

@Andrew If you think you'll always go with the propane heater over the heat pump then I wouldn't worry about getting a heat pump. Heat pump will never be as effective as propane heaters but in some situations they aren't bad at all.
