What Vent Cover Will Work for My Older Fantastic Vent 4000R? Will the Universal One Work?

Hello, I need a replacement vent cover for a fantastic vent 4000R. I was looking at the valtera universal cover part : A10-3375, but wasnt sure this would fit my model since it is a little older can you confirm that this model would work for me or recommend an alternative? Thank you

Hello Patrick,
The Replacement Lid for Ventline, MaxxAir, Fan-Tastic Vent, Ventadome, Jensen, and Elixir RV Roof Vents # A10-3375 should work because it is more of a universal fit, but since it is universal it won't be the best fit.
For your fantastic vent 4000R I recommend going with the Replacement Dome for Dometic FanTastic RV Roof Vents - Tinted # FVK1020-19. It is only in the smoke color, I know you were looking at a white one. But the # FVK1020-19 is going to be your best fit because it is the one made for that fan.
What happened to your other cover, old age, wind, or something else? Any big trips you are gearing up for? If so, where are you headed?
