How to Replace Ventline Vent Lid # BVD0449-A01 on a Ventadome Trailer Vent

Question:

Do you have a video showing how to replace old broken vent with this replacement showing the spring clip. I thought that I saw on a while back, and received the replacement + new spring clip from you and am ready to install it

You did indeed see a video showing how to replace the vent lid # BVD0449-A01. I have linked that video for you here as well. IT was one that I made a while back and that is probably where you saw it.

A dealer at a trailer sales place here where i live sold me a # BVD0449-A01 and it is different than the ones i have used in the past. I think i must have needed the #BV0554-01. Is there any way to make this work / looks like the connection is not going to work. I have always just slid my new one on.

If the Replacement Lid # BVD0449-A01 has a different hinge type than what you need, unfortunately there's not a good way to modify/adapt it so that it fits. You're only option will be to go with the right design, such as the part # BV0554-01 that you referenced.

Can either Chris or Michael please email me the link for the BVD0449-A cover retainer clip. My 5th wheel has to of these covers and neither has the retainer clip. I just replaced one cover. Thank you,
