Is There Spring Kit for B and W Companion for Flat Bed Trucks

Hi there. I have a question about a BandW companion BWRVK3500 fifth wheel hitch. I had a non slider I now have a flatbed and bought an appropriate flat bed base BWRVK3050. The pickup bed base had a spring that clipped to the uprights to tilt the head backward to aid in coupling. I have two questions: Will this work on the flat bed base uprights? Also. Do you have a listing for the spring kit, or at minimum, a part number?

Hey Marcus, there isn't a spring kit available to help tilt the B and W Companion Flat Bed 5th Wheel Hitch part # BWRVK3050 head back. Generally though if you are lined up decently the angle of the front of the hitch head will allow it to line up like it needs to.

Do you have the B and W gooseneck hitch this was designed for part # BWGNRK1500.

I just finished conversing with B&W about this. There is a kit available for this specific purpose. They referred to it as a head leveling kit but I didn’t get a part number to reference. They’re sending one out to me as a courtesy

@MarcusM Glad they are taking care of you. B and W is a little selective with parts they will us sell as a replacement part but the good news is a lot of the time if you call them they will just send the parts out like they did for you.
