Can a Trailer Suspension be Blocked to Lower it by 3"

Question:

I have an enclosed trailer with 2 5500 axles that i want to lower about 3 its brand new and sits way too high. Was thinking of blocking it like a truck but would like expert advice. Ive got about 5 from top of axle to frame

Hey Matt, thanks for reaching out!

You can use some blocks to lower your trailer, but I only recommend using like a 1" block because you'll need to maintain about 4" of space between the axle and frame to account for suspension travel.

If you lower it 1", that means we need to get you 2" lower to meet your goal. We can go with some smaller tires as well, but I'll need to know your current tire size, as well as the mounting bolt pattern that your wheel uses in order to make a recommendation for you.
