I am flat towing a jeep wrangler be hind a class a Newmar essex. We have 2 mountain e-bikes that weigh 60 pounds each. Would like a bike rack capable for these bikes that can be used on motorhome or jeep and if it can be put between the MH and and clear the jeep even better. What rack would you recommend and why? Thank you

The Yakima OnRamp LX Bike Rack # Y88DJ is the best option for your situation. Not all bike racks are rated for use on a flat-towed vehicle, and not all of them are rated for 60 lb+ bikes, but the OnRamp LX meets both of these criteria and also comes with a ramp so it's easier to load and unload.
There are ways to use a bike rack between a motorhome and towed vehicle, but it would be with a shank like the Gen-Y # 325-GH-304 that's a bike more heavy duty, and you'll need to make sure the 30-1/2" depth of the bike rack won't interfere with the turning radius of your Jeep.
