Can I Use Standard Grease Caps on a E-Z Lube Axle?

Question:
I have E-Z lube axles. I dont use the E-Z lube grease fitting. Can I run standard caps and service the bearings like tike a traditional axle.

You sure can Cary. There's no space restrictions that will keep you from installing a standard grease cap like item # F001524 on your hubs.
Why don't you want to use the E-Z lube grease fittings?

Jared, I use the easy lube axles for a while and it actually pushed grease out of the wheel seals rather than pushing new grease through the bearings. I'd rather just pull apart my wheel bearings like a traditional style and service them as normal. My concern about using standard caps is I have been told that the EZ lube caps have a microscopic hole that allow the wheel bearing to breathe as they heat up and expand.
