Furrion AC Unit and JT's Strong Arm Stabilizer Kit for a Keystone 2700BH Cougar Sport

Updated 09/29/2025 | Published 05/12/2025

Question:

I am looking to add a 2nd a/c to my keystone 2700bh cougar sport. The dealer suggested this unit FACR13HESA-BL. I can’t find this model on your site. This is the same brand as the main a/c unit. I am also looking to add the jt strong arm stabilizer kit to the same unit. I am thinking of adding the Timbren stabilizers to my 2019 f250 crew cab long bed. Looking for thoughts and feedback back. Thanks

Hey Matthew, thanks for reaching out!

The Furrion Chill HE # FR76PR is the same as the part FACR13HESA-BL that you referenced - we just have our own part number for it.

When it comes to choosing the correct JT's Strong Arm kit the breaking point is 58" for the distance between the landing gear. The Kit # LC191023 is for 58" or more between the landing gear, while the Kit # LC191024 is for less than 58" between the landing gear.

The Timbren Kit # TFRTT350J will fit your truck, but is designed for Severe Service applications so when you don't have a load on your truck you'll definitely feel the effects of the kit. I recommend picking up the SumoSprings # SSR-127-54 instead because they won't be as harsh when your truck is unloaded.

Are you looking for more stability between your truck and trailer, or less squat for your truck?

Hey Matthew, did the Furrion Chill HE work out for your Keystone? I'm curious if it met your expectations since it matched the dealer's suggestion. Your experience could really help others considering a similar upgrade!
