Hello Ross,

It looks like you already got one ordered. Sorry for the delay in getting an answer. Busy season has arrived and our queue filled up quickly!

Unfortunately, I'm not able to identify the correct spring based solely on the axle information. We always need the eye-to-eye measurement to confirm the proper replacement spring.

As long as your current leaf spring measures approximately 24-7/8" from eye to eye with the weight off the suspension (it may measure slightly longer due to stretching over time), then the 7-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 8,000-lb Trailer Axles, 24-7/8", Black, part # e89FV, will make a great spare or emergency replacement.

Since your axle is rated for 7,000 lbs, I am curious what your current leaf springs are rated for. Ideally, you want matching springs on both sides. If you do end up needing to use the spare spring, it should get you home safely, but I would recommend replacing the spring on the opposite side as well so they match.

What kind of adventure are you headed out on this time?

Thanks for the response. Correct I did place an order for a set of the leaf springs mentioned above. I did get a part number from Dexter and I crossed referenced it to the ones I ordered. We are heading out on a 2 week trip to Zion and a few other national parks along the way.
