Where To Install SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs TSS-106-40 On Trailer With Tandem Axles?
Updated 09/29/2025 | Published 04/27/2025 >
Question:
For a dual axle trailer, do the SupoSprings mount in front, behind, or both, as I understand you need two sets. I can not find info on the suggested location for the installation.

Hello Mike, thanks for reaching out. I see you already have the kit on order, but I wanted to make sure your question was answered. When Installing the # TSS-106-40 Sumo Springs on a tandem axle trailer, the helper springs will get installed in the front part of the rear axle closer to the equalizer, and on the rear part of the front axle also closer to the equalizer.
Leave a reply below and let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.
