Can I Put Kilz Down Before Installing the XTRM PVC Membrane?

Question:
Can i paint my plywood roof with Kilz paint before applying XTRM pvc membrane over it for an extra precautionary protection against leakage?

No, you don't want to put Kilz down. The adhesive for the LaSalle Bristol RV Roof Replacement Kit w/ XTRM Membrane item # 344270KIT35 won't stick to the primer. It needs the bare wood. The item # 344270KIT35 install kit comes with everything you need to install the membrane.

Oh thank you...i also had another question. Looks like i will be 3 ft too short for the Xtrm pvc membraine for one of my slideouts. Can i use pvc cement to bond 3ft to the piece im too short on?
