Question:
What is the difference between AL98KV and Dicor lap sealant? I have always used Dicor in the past but my RV manual says to use the Alpha 1021

Hey Michael, welcome back! The Alpha Systems 1021 Self-Leveling Sealant # AL98KV is going to do the same thing as Dicor as long as we're talking about a self-leveling sealant. The main difference is going to be the branding. They both use a butyl rubber base, exact composition may vary (I don't know everything Dicor is made of), but they will both work on your RV.
Since you have a new 2025 Rockwood MiniLite 2205S I would stick with what the manual says just in case you have some kind of weird warranty issue.

I completely agree, having used both. It seals horizontal surface areas with confidence. :-)
