Will 2024 Ram 3500 Dually Long Bed Require Offset Gooseneck Ball

Hello I have the same question with above. “Hi. Will I need the offset ball adapter to use this hitch in a 2019 Gmc 3500 dually long bed truck? I would rather just use the gooseneck ball. My truck has the factory gooseneck prep package. asked by: Mark M” We’re looking to purchase a fifth wheel and it has the gooseneck Gen – Y fifth wheel pin box. And we are towing with a 2024 ram 3500 Dooley Long bed 8’ Thank you for any assistance or what product you would recommend, including safety chains

Hey Rico! What kind of 5th wheel are you looking at? Since your 2024 Ram 3500 has the 8' bed you will not need any kind of offset ball. Assuming you have the prep package you can use the B&W Ball and Safety Chain Kit for Ram Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNXA2062. You will also need the Gen-Y Safety Chains # GY49GR if the 5th wheel doesn't come with them. If you need anything else feel free to reply below.
