Question:
Hi, I own a Santa Fe 2025 SEL and I want to install a tow hitch. I was looking at CURT Class 3 Trailer Hitch and TowSmart Class 3 Trailer Hitch, but it seems like they would sit much lower than OEM hitch, is that correct or is it just my impression? If it is correct, can you tell me what the difference in height it woud be? Thanks!

Hey Ivan! The Curt # C37RV and TowSmart # TS44ZR probably do sit a little lower than the factory hitch, but it doesn't look like it is a significant amount. The bumper is slightly different with a cutout for the hitch if you have the factory hitch. We don't have those measurements so I can't tell if it is for aesthetics or if it is necessary for the hitch to fit. The height of that hitch is not something available to us.
The only hitch I can give you the height on is the Curt # C37RV since we have installed one. The distance from the ground to the top inside of the receiver is 13-1/2". I expect the TowSmart to be about the same. The hitch does have a concealed cross tube, just like the factory hitch, so the only thing you will see hanging down at the rear is the receiver itself. If ground clearance is your concern I don't see this being a problem.
