Best Disc Brake Conversion Kit Recommendation for Grand Design Momentum 397TH

hello i have a grand design momentum 397th 20 000 lbs tripple axle I whant upgrade with disk break what is the best ? hydrastar or deemax? thank you

Hey Philippe, in my opinion the Hydrastar disc brake setups are the best because they have the best and most reliable electric over hydraulic actuator. We've found it's the most reliable and quickest reacting. So for a triple 7k axle setup you'd want the part # HSE7K-TR1 for a hub/rotor setup or the part # HSE7K-TR1SO if you preferred a slip-on style rotor that fits over idler hubs.

Both of these are for 1/2 inch diameter wheel studs. If you have a different size stud let me know and I'll see what you'd need.

Hello I dont understand the hydrastar différence of both kit My stud is 9/16

@Philippe So there are two different styles of kits. One where the rotors are designed to slip over an idler hub that is installed on your trailer axle spindle or one where the hub is integrated into the rotor. The hub is the part with the bearings and has the wheel studs. Let me know which kit you need and I'll see what you'd need based on your wheel stud diameter.
