Hub is designed for use on trailer idler axles. Fits 7,000-lb axles with #42 spindles. Inner bearing (25580) and race, outer bearing (14125A) and race, grease seal, grease cap, and lug nuts included.
Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are (also called bolt holes)
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug) 
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug) 
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for your 7,000 pound trailer axle. Now, this hub and drum assembly is designed for trailers with a 7,000 pound idler axle, specifically, ones that use the #42 spindles. This does come fully pre-greased and ready to install. So you're not gonna be chasing after extra parts like bearings, races, seals, grease caps, or lug nuts, that's all going to be included with this assembly. As far as compatibility goes, this is gonna work with your standard axles from well-known manufacturers like Dexter and Lippert and AL-KO, making this a solid replacement option.
Each hub is gonna support 3,500 pounds, so when used as a pair on a single axle, that's where you're gonna get your 7,000 pound trailer axle capacity. So as I mentioned, the bearings and the races and the grease seal are all included. And on your screen, I am including the numbers for those bearings and races and grease seal, just for your information. And you can find that information, again, on this product page if you need to refer back to it, but that's what's going to be included with this. This does use an 8 on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern, which is common on heavy-duty trailers.
And it's made for wheels in the 16 to 17 1/2 inch range with 1/2 inch wheel bolts. And these bolts are 1 1/4 inches long, so they're gonna work well with your standard trailer wheels. If you need help measuring your bolt pattern, we do have instructions on this product page walking you through how you can measure your bolt pattern to make sure that you're getting the hub that you need for your particular trailer. Durability is a big focus here. This drum has a zinc-enriched coating, and the mounting hardware is zinc finish, which is gonna help fight rust and corrosion.
It's gonna be especially useful if your trailer sees wet conditions or long-term outdoor storage. But this is gonna be a ready to bolt on heavy-duty hub that's gonna fit those common axles, uses a popular bolt pattern, and is built to hold up well over time.
