If your old drum setup feels sluggish or inconsistent, this DeeMaxx disc brake kit delivers instant, controlled braking. The Alpha G1600 electric-over-hydraulic actuator produces up to 1,600 psi of pressure and works with most in-cab brake controllers for smooth, proportional response. Each slip-on 13-1/8" rotor fits over your existing idler hubs with 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern and 1/2" wheel bolts, letting you step up to disc performance without a full hub swap.
Lag and push from surge actuators can make braking unpredictable. The pump-and-motor system in this kit activates the trailer brakes the moment your brake controller sends a signal—no delay, no hitch push. You can even use the manual override or reverse down an incline with full braking control. The actuator runs on 12V DC with an 18-24 amp draw at full pressure and uses standard 3/16" inverted flare hydraulic fittings for easy setup.
Rust is the enemy of smooth braking, especially around water. DeeMaxx protects against that with a Maxx coat finish on the rotors, calipers, and brackets that holds up for over 1,000 hours in salt spray testing. Drainage holes in the hat section let water escape quickly, cutting down on internal corrosion. This makes it a solid choice for boat trailers or anyone towing in wet or brackish conditions.

Long downhill grades or heavy loads can cook standard brakes fast. The vented 13-1/8" rotors move air through the core to shed heat quickly, while Kevlar brake pads resist wear and stay consistent through repeated stops. A stainless steel piston gives quick engagement and fade-free braking you can feel every time you slow down.

This triple-axle kit comes complete with six slip-on rotors, calipers, brackets, hydraulic lines, and fittings. Rubber hoses meet DOT and SAE standards and are easier to route than rigid steel lines. Laser-etched bleeding instructions on each caliper make maintenance straightforward. With automotive-grade build quality, a 7-year warranty on the brakes, and a 2-year warranty on the actuator, it’s built for long-term reliability you can install yourself.

Hello, neighbors and friends. Steve here with etrailer.com. Folks, today, we're looking at a triple axle DeeMaxx disc brake kit with actuator in a 13-inch rotor with an eight on 6 1/2-inch lug pattern rated at 7,000 pounds. Now folks, we do offer this kit in both a single, double, or triple axle kit. So make sure you're getting the right part number for the corresponding kit you're wanting. So if you want the tandem, I'll put that item on the screen.
If you want the single, I'll have that up there. And again, I'll have this triple axle part number on the screen as well. But this one today we're looking at is DE76AR. Now folks, getting into it, what you're getting is an upgrade to your trailer from your idler axle to a braking axle for superior performance, which will include the electric-over-hydraulic brake actuator that's gonna activate the brakes when your brake controller signal sends it. If you don't have a brake controller, that's something you would need to purchase separately.
We've got 'em here at etrailer.com as well. Now why disc brakes over drum Well, quite simply, there's no lag or delay. You're gonna have more braking control, and they offer shorter stopping distances and deliver a consistent braking even at highway speeds. Now these are gonna be great for towing and launching your boat in both fresh or brackish water. The corrosion-resistant Maxx coat finish of all the metal parts that you see has a nice 1,000-hour spray rating.
Now again, these are what's called slip-on rotors, so they're gonna slip over the hub rotors and fit your standard idler hubs that are held in place by your existing wheel bolts. Now you don't have to worry about replacing the hub and rotor assembly if you get this kit and in the future you need one. You simply just take off one hub and rotor, and you just take the rotor off in this case and replace it as needed. Now these are vented with holes both on the sides and around the circle part here in the front to help dissipate heat, let water out, and those kind of things as well. Now I wanna zoom in and focus on some of the stuff over here.
So you're gonna get all the mounting brackets, all the manifolds, as I call 'em for the brake lines. You get all the brake hoses you need for a triple axle trailer. All the short ones, mediums, and longs. You're gonna get all the zip ties you need. You're gonna get the electric-over-hydraulic brake actuator. You're gonna get six of the brake flanges here, the caliper mount. So these are gonna match up to a five-bolt brake flange configuration on your axle. You're gonna get six sets of the calipers with the brake pads. The brake pads are a Kevlar brake pad. They're gonna help dissipate heat, resist wear and tear extremely well. And the pistons inside are all stainless steel, so that's gonna give you maximum corrosion resistance there. And just everything else about it, you got all the brass connectors that's gonna help resist corrosion and all that. Your bleeder screws, everything you need here in one piece, one kit. And again, you get all these zip ties as well. That's gonna be for helping to hold things in place when you're routing wires and stuff. On the actuator itself, rated at 1,600 PSI. It's approximately 10 inches long by six inches tall, and 3 5/8 inches wide. As far as the mounting holes, there's some holes on both sides of the brackets that are included with it. It's 11 inches center to center, and 1 1/2 inches center to center on the sideways. Now this does carry DOT 4 fluid you're gonna need to get, and it's a reservoir capacity of 15.7 ounces, and obviously it runs on 12 volts power. You got four wires, black for power, blue for break, yellow for breakaway, and white for ground. A nice seven-year warranty on all the brakes. Two years on the actuators themselves. And again, this is the DeeMaxx disc brake kit with actuator, again, folks, for triple axles. All the hoses meet DOT and SAE standards. They're gonna be super easy to install compared to those rigid steel lines that some other brands carry. Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look. Again, we sell this in single, tandem, or a triple axle capacity. I'm Steven, thanks so much for watching. Stay safe out there while you're towing.
