Question:
Hello, I would like to add electric brakes to the second axle of my trailer and would like to know what parts I need to do this? Both axles are Dexter 3500lb models, the axle with brakes is p/n 10037920 and the axle without brakes is p/n 5287864. Thanks

Hey Isaac! What kind of trailer do you have? The first thing you need to do is make sure that second axle has a brake flange. If you don't have a brake flange you will need to either replace the axle or have # 4-35 welded on at a local axle shop.
Once that is taken care of you will need the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-35-K along with etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes # AKEBRK-35-SA and # BRKH10B. If you want to stick with the Dexter brand we have the # 84546UC3-EZ along with # 23-468-469. You will also need # 10-1-1 to run wiring to the additional brake assemblies.
