Can the DeeZee Lowering and Hopkins EasyLift Tailgate Systems be Installed Together?

Does the Hopkins EasyLift interfere with an installed DEE ZEE lift?

Hey Charles, thanks for reaching out!

You should be able to use both the DeeZee tailgate-lowering system and the Hopkins EasyLift Truck Bed Tailgate Lift Assist # 74211 without them working against each other. We've reached out to DeeZee in the past and they've said the parts haven't been tested together, but they should work.

Worst-case scenario is that your tailgate kind of hangs in a state of "limbo" but that shouldn't happen.

@Charles I unfortunately don't know of any places in London, Ontario that carry this, and we unfortunately don't ship this part to Canada either. If you try doing an internet search using the manufacturer and part number, hopefully that will get you a result that will work for you in your area.
