Question:
I just got a chance to measure everything on my current stock setup on a 2021 Jayco 267BHS tandem axle. My stock equalizer measures 5.75inch from shackle hole to shackle hole, and a vertical dimension of 2inch from the hanger hole to the centerline of the shackle holes. I see the shackle span of the CRE3000 is a little wider, and the hanger hole to centerline of shackle holes is over an inch taller, wondering if this will negatively affect the suspension geometry and also increase my ride height by that 1+ inch. Stock shackles are 2-1/4, wheelbase is 33inch and the spring hangers are 59-1/2inch front to back.

Hello Nick, thanks for reaching out. When replacing your equalizer, the replacement must be identical in size to the stock equalizer. There is a small amount of wiggle room, like 1/2" or less, but any more than this can throw your suspension out of center. There are ways to lift a trailer, but a taller equalizer is not one of them.
That said, if you want an upgraded equalizer, your best option will be the Dexter E-Z Flex # K71-652-00. This measures 5-3/4" long and 2" tall so this is perfect for replacing your equalizer.
Then for a shackle kit with 2-1/4" shackles, I recommend the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit # MR46ZR. This comes with all HD shackles, wet bolts and bronze bushings.
I hope this helps. Leave a reply below with any other questions or comments and I am happy to get back to you.

It looks like that E-Z Flex part number you gave is for the kit, including their shackle kit. Do you offer just the equalizer only, would it be the K71-654-00? I plan on using the Morryde shackles, with the x-factor braces. Thanks.
