Hi - I own a 2024 Defender 110 w/o trailer hitch and wanted to know if the Yakima SpareRide Bike Rack - Spare Tire Mount - Folding Arms, comes for 4 x bikes? And is there something comparable for Thule?

Hey Dan! The Yakima SpareRide # Y02599 is only available as a 2-bike rack. Thule had the Spare Me but I believe it is discontinued. I know we no longer carry it. There are some 3-bike models like the Malone Runway # MPG2148 but nothing for 4-bikes.
I'm sure putting that much weight, and weight that far out, does not work well for this type of bike rack which is why major manufacturers don't make one. If you want to stick with a spare tire rack you could always add the other two bikes to the roof. You will need a roof rack # TH83SG and a roof bike rack like the Thule ProRide XT # TH598004.
The only other way to carry 4 bikes on your 2024 Land Rover Defender is with a hitch mounted bike rack like the Thule T2 Pro XTR # TH69TX or Yakima StageTwo # Y88TD. However, clearing that rear spare may be an issue depending on where your hitch sits and how far the spare sticks out.

Hey Dan, how did things go with your bike rack setup for the Defender? Were you able to find a good way to carry all four bikes using the options we talked about? Your update could make it easier for others trying to haul multiple bikes with a spare tire mount.
