Question:
I have a 40foot renegade Verona class c RV and tow a 34foot haulmark edge pro race trailer. i wanted to use this hitch to take the sway out of the trailer. I think my receiver is larger than my F250, will this work? Do i need a larger shank for the receiver? Is it ok to tow behind a Class C RV? Thanks

Hey Eric, thanks for reaching out!
As long as the hitch on your Class C RV is rated for weight distribution, you can use the Curt Round Bar Weight Distribution System # C17063 with no issues.
When it comes to using it with the 2-1/2" receiver on your truck, you can technically use a reducer like the etrailer # e28JR, but best practice is to use a shank like the Curt # C17131 that's designed for a 2-1/2" hitch receiver, so I recommend going that route instead.
Where is your favorite spot to race at?

Hey Eric, how did things go using the Curt weight distribution system with your Renegade and race trailer? Did the setup help take out the sway like you were hoping? Your feedback could really help others towing similar rigs.
