The video for the penguin 2 DMC53ZR states you have to add a wall thermostat. Is this correct?

Hello Dana, thanks for getting in touch. There are two ways to control the Dometic # DMC53ZR AC unit. You can use a manual control distribution box like part # DMC43ZR, or you can use a distribution box with wall thermostat like part # DMC66RR. It really just comes down to your preferences and how your RV is set up.
