When a trailer or bed load makes the rear of your truck squat, everything from braking to steering can feel off. The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bags add up to 5,000 lbs of load support to keep your truck level and steady under weight. The double-convoluted air springs work with your suspension to hold the right stance so your headlights stay aimed correctly and your ride stays controlled on rough roads or long grades.
Tuning for the conditions doesn’t get easier than this. The included compressor and single-path in-cab controller let you adjust both air bags together right from the driver’s seat. Add air when you hitch up or haul a big load, then drop pressure when you’re empty for a smoother ride. With a working range of 5–100 psi, it’s simple to keep your setup balanced for every drive without ever stepping out of the cab.
This setup comes ready to install with air bags, custom-fit brackets, compressor, fittings, lines, hardware, an analog control panel with wiring harness, and a no-drill mounting plate for the compressor. The brackets line up with factory attachment points for straightforward installation using basic tools. Once mounted, you’ve got an all-in-one system that handles both towing days and lighter runs with equal confidence.
Long hauls and bad weather can take their toll on suspension parts, but this kit is made to handle it. Firestone uses plated, coated, and brass components to hold up against rust, salt, and grime. Reinforced rubber air bags and tight-sealing fittings help prevent leaks so you can count on consistent performance season after season—backed by a limited lifetime warranty on the air bags and 2-year coverage on hardware and compressor parts.

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're looking at our Firestone Ride Rite Airbag kit with the easy mount compressor and in-cab control gauge. Now, folks, this is ready for 5,000 pounds of load support and it's what we call a single path kit. Meaning you're gonna be able to inflate or deflate the bags simultaneously with the push of one button. Now this again, is a custom fit vehicle.
The precision brackets simply bolt onto your factory attachment points, and that's because everything they've made here has been custom just as I mentioned. So, make sure you're checking the fit guide. Be sure you're getting in the right parts the first time. Now, as you can see, there's lots of different parts. I didn't have a lot of space on the table, so work with me here if you will.
We have the bags themselves. Reinforced rubber and tight sealing connections. And as you know, Firestone's around for ages. They make an amazing, amazing product. You have all the different bracketry made to mount the bags to the frame of your specific vehicle.
These are all powder-coated heavy-duty steel, so they're not gonna rust or corrode on you anytime soon. You have a nice big bag of hardware here. It's got everything from U-bolts, cable ties, nuts, bolts for all the brackets that go into the frame of your vehicle, along with T connections for your push to connect to connect your air line here. Now, a quick tech tip while I got this in my hand. Make sure you're cutting these very, very straight and clean as possible.
The installers here at etrailer have assured me that that's the number one place where they have air leaks that customers call in about. And it turns out it's usually just not a straight cut on that air line. So, save yourself some headache in the future and just make sure you're taking your time cutting those. As you can see, the little compressor fits in the palm in my hand, but very, very powerful and mighty. It does the job it needs to do. And then of course, your analog gauge inside the cab of the vehicle. You can simply inflate or deflate as needed. And then again, your wire harness to wire up the power for that compressor and everything with the relay. And this is the mounting bracket kit for that compressor to be able to just simply bolt that onto the frame of that bracket tree and then to the frame of the vehicle. So, all-in-one kit includes the airbag, compressor, controller, and everything else you need for the installation. And again, folks, this has been built very tough by Firestones. So again, folks, if you're looking for a great option with airbags, this could be the one for you. If you have questions about this or any of the products, reach out to us here at etrailer. Thanks for watching and have a great day.

I like how the Firestone All-in-one comes with everything I needed without needing to piece together a bunch of parts. The best part is that the air bags and the compressor system come in one package, so everything is already matched and ready to install. I still had to mount the compressor myself, but there’s no guesswork on what works with what.
Installation takes a little time, but the bags make a noticeable difference. They level out the truck, cut down on squat, and help everything feel more stable when you’re towing. And with the onboard compressor, I can add or remove air whenever I need, without carrying around a bulky compressor or stopping at the gas station.
It’s a solid, well-built kit that simplifies the whole process. For anyone who tows often and wants a clean, all-in-one solution, it’s a great fit.
