Question:
I recently bought a new F350 dually. It sits a little higher than my old F250 and my 5th wheel is on the lighter side there is no squat on the truck to help level the trailer. My trailer rides several inches higher in the front than the rear. Will this affect the rear axle on the trailer, and is there any way to raise the trailer safely? Such as adding a leaf spring or 2? Thank you

Hey Bill, so we can help but the cushioned equalizer part # MR27ZR that you referenced was not designed to provide additional height to the trailer so it would not be what you are looking for. Before I mention parts that will lift the rear suspension is your pin box mounted in the highest mounting bracket holes currently? Is your fifth wheel hitch set at it's lowest height setting? Try those two things if you haven't already.
To add 2 inches of height to your trailer's rear suspension you can use the Correct Track Lift kit part # RR55QX. I know it says triple axle but it's correct kit for 2 inches on a tandem axle trailer.

Thanks, currently my trailer sits almost 6" above my bed rail, which is what i believe to be the minimum suggested distance. So, I'm not a fan of lowering either one.
