How Wide Would Trailer be If Timbren Axle Less Was Installed on 56 inch Wide Frame  

Question:

With this axle set, on a 56inch wide trailer body, running a 10inch wide tire, electric brakes, and zero offset wheels. What would the approximate overall width be?

Hey Matt, assuming the frame width of your trailer is also 56 inches wide the overall width of it would be with the Timbren Axleless kit part # TASR35HDS06 a total of 82 inches.

So you are saying that 10" wide tires plus a 56" wide trailer frame only totals up to 70"? That does not seem correct

@Matt You're right its 82. From the part of the frame to where the hub face is will be 8 inches. So add 16 inches to 56 to get 72 inches wide hub face to hub face. Then for the wheel/tire width you'd need to add 10 inches because each wheel would have half of it's width to the outside of the hub face due to zero offset.
