Hello Tim, thanks for reaching out. What I recommend for your 2016 Heartland Bighorn is the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY38FR. This replaces the Lippert 1621 pin box which is a quite common model. This will also be the correct for your 2,500 lbs - 4,500 lbs pin weight range for your 15,500 lb GVWR camper. Basically, you take the GVWR and multiply it by 0.22 and that tells you your calculated pin weight.
The Gen-Y gooseboxes are great. They give you the shock absorption of an air ride pin box without any of the maintenance. Made here in the USA too. As long as your are sure your stock pin box is the 1621, it will work great for you.

Hey Tim, how did the Gen-Y shock absorbing pin box work out on your Bighorn? It sounds like a solid match for your 1621 setup. Your update could make it easier for others figuring out the right gooseneck option for their campers.
