What Information Do I Need to Find the Right Gen-Y Gooseneck for My 2022 GD Reflection 367BHS?

Question:

I have a 2022 GD Reflection 367BHS and a 2025 GMC Sierra 2500. Trying to figure out which model of Gen-Y fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter I need. I have found around 4-5 different models and can’t differentiate any differences through the website.

Hello Nathan,

Great question. There are 2 key factors with finding the right Gen-Y Gooseneck, the pin box number, and the pin weight (tongue weight). I was able to look up the GVWR of your 2022 GD Reflection 367BHS which is 14,995 lbs. They have a special formula for getting you into the right Gooseneck, if you take the GVWR and times it by 0.22 you get 3,298.9, if you look at the chart that I attached that puts you into the 4,500 pound executive pin weight capacity.

So now that we have the right pin weight for you, we just need the pin box number. On your current set up there should be a sticker, it might have the pin box number on it but most of the time it does not. If you can send me the a picture of the sticker, or the information off of it I can forward it over to Lippert so they can supply me with the right pin box number, I attached an example of what most of the stickers look like. After I get that information I can send you the right part number.

I really appreciate your time, and I look forward to hearing back from you.

@Nathan Hello Nathan, I heard back from Lippert and they were able to supply me with your pin box number, you currently have the Lippert 1621 5th Wheel Pin Box - 15,500 lbs # LC1191191 on your 5th wheel meaning that your pin box number is a Lippert 1621. We already figured out that you need the 4,500 pound tongue weight so you will want the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box - Lippert 1621/1621HD - 30K GTW - 4.5K TW # GY38FR. Any trips planned for after you make the swap?
