Question:

The video shows a floor jack with an extension to lift the trailer up by the frame. What is this extension and where can I get it?

Hey Dan, thanks for reaching out!

I believe the jacks and extensions you're talking about in the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers # RM-2460 install video is part of a 5th wheel leveling system similar to the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 # LC675817. It looked like that was a hydraulic system while this is electric, and as long as your 5th wheel doesn't exceed a GVWR of 15,500 lbs you can definitely use this system!

Let me know if you end up having any other questions!

Thank you for the response. At the 14:30 mark in the installation video on the Grand Design, you can see the floor jack behind the axle and it has what appears to be an extention to lift up the frame. Looks like a 8" cylinder on the floor jack top.

@Dan Ah, I see what you mean now. We don't sell any of those, but if you do an internet search for "floor jack extension" I believe you'll be able to find what you're needing.
