Can etrailer E-Track be Used to Mount Solar Arrays

Question:

I need some advice as Im going to use the e62vr, if they are feasible for a project. I am looking for a racking system to mount on the roof of a cargo trailer and attach solar arrays. They are wide enough at 5 inches to distribute weight so I can work maintenance on the arrays when needed. The array ground pedestals are 2 5/8in. For more info on what I have to mount on the roof would be at: ECO-WORTHY, SKU: US-L03SPBZJTZ-1. I just needed to be able to distribute some of the weight. The trailer is in great shape and the roof support cross-members are not rotted. Would you recommend? Please advise. Thank you. Regards Robert Critchley.

Hey Robert, I think the etrailer E-Track part # e62VR would work really well for what you are wanting to do. It has more than enough capacity and would give a decent amount of flexibility with where you want to mount the arrays as well. Just run bolts through the e-tracks that match up with your roof support crossmembers and you'd be good.
