Would a Reese Sidewinder Pin Box Cause Trailer Sway

Question:

Im installing a Sidewinder Pin Box on my new 5th wheel and will be pulling it with a 2011 Toyota Tundra with a 6 1/2 foot box. Because the pivot point on the Sidewinder is 22 inches to the rear of the 5th saddle pin, is there a possibility of sway issues from trucks and side winds while traveling down the highway at at posted speeds?

We have never had any issues with Sidewinder pin boxes causing sway on a trailer. In fact, most report back that the overall towing experience has been improved as the trailer will track better behind the tow vehicle and will be easier to reverse.

You should note that the pivot point moves back but the overall length of your trailer would not be increased.
