Question:
Your video shows the outside plate width including the beveled edges at about 4.75. The front plate on my Toyota Land Cruiser is 4.25inch wide. Im concerned that hitch cover may not be wide enough on the inside flat width not including the beveled edges to allow for a flush fit. What is the width of the interior flat portion of your hitch cover? It needs to be at least 4.25inch to work with my vehicle. Many thanks!

Hey Doug! I went out to the warehouse and measured the backside of the Georgia Chrome Logo Emblem 2" Hitch Cover item # AMG100147. The flat part before it starts to curve at the sides measures 3-7/8". Additionally, from the center to the hitch pin hole to the closest flat spot on the back of the cover is 2-1/2". So hopefully it'll have enough depth to give you clearance.
Depending on what part of the country you're located in you may want to secure it with the etrailer lock item # e98880, so it doesn't walk away. If you're located in Missouri you'll just need a standard hitch pin like item # e45TR.

Hey Doug, how did the Georgia hitch cover end up fitting on your Land Cruiser with that 3-7/8-inch flat width? Your feedback could really help others checking clearances for similar setups.
