Question:
Hello. Im thinking about installing a on demand hot water heater on my 2003 Itasca Horizon. Is it safe and proper to use a flexible rubber gas line to connect the heater to the coaches gas supply line or do i need to configure the existing copper supply line . Thank you, Thomas

Hey Thomas, the RVIA code is that everything above the belly pan of the RV has to be copper until you reach the appliance. Rubber would be easier though wouldn't it?

Hey Thomas, how did things go with the gas line setup for your on-demand water heater? Did you end up keeping the copper line or find another safe option that worked for your Itasca? Your update could make it easier for others working on similar RV upgrades.
