Purpose of Red Wires For Installation of Progressive Dynamics PD4045KA RV Power Converter
Updated 08/20/2020 | Published 08/18/2020 >
Question:
What do i connect the red wires stemming from the reverse battery connection fuses to?
asked by: Brianna
Expert Reply:
Because they're of a heavier gauge, the two red wires are used to heaviest DC load in the RV. The red wires aren't involved with the reverse polarity fuses. The battery positive wire gets connected to the battery positive terminal on the DC fuse board and the reverse battery fuse work through that terminal.
Progressive Dynamics suggests having the # PD4045KA power converter installed by a licensed electrician or RV technician if you're not familiar with electrical wiring systems.
