Solutions for Gooseneck Trailer Tongue Sitting Too Low
Updated 02/27/2025 | Published 02/13/2025 >
Question:
I have a gooseneck trailer where the tongue is too low even with the inner coupler fully extended. From the bottom of the coupler to the furthest hole is 19, but I need at least another 3 for the trailer to sit level. Do you carry anything that can help with that?

Hey Ryan, have you tried to adjust the pin box itself to cover that gap? Since you already adjusted the coupler adapter to it's highest setting, the only other thing you can do besides lift your trailer is adjust the pin box itself.
I'd start with that, and if you can't adjust the height or it didn't help enough, please feel free to drop a comment and let me know.

On the trailer, the gooseneck coupler is the only part that adjusts. On the truck, it has an in-bed B&W turnover ball. I'm using an extended ball and put a 2" lift on the rear of the truck, but the trailer is still tilted forward.
