Best Weight Distribution Hitch for a 12,000 lbs Trailer

Question:

I currently own a 2025 Grand Design Reflection model 315RLTS. Its just shy of 38 ft long and almost 12 feet tall. Hitch/Pin weight is 1,250. The GVWR is 11,295 and the UVW is 9,900. Im strongly looking at the Weigh Safe WDS. Which one do you recommend with the weight and length of this camper?

Hey Vernon! For your Grand Design Reflection the Weigh Safe True Tow Weight Distribution Hitch item # WS94RR would be perfect. It has a 12,500 lbs gross towing capacity and a 1,250 lbs maximum tongue weight. It comes with a 2" shank that will provide you with up to a 6" drop.

I really like the built in scale on the Weigh Safe item # WS94RR. It's going to tell you what your exact tongue weight is. There is also an app that is going to tell how to set up the system so you can achieve that optimal performance.
