Can Solera Slide Toppers Be Cut Down To Size?

Question:

Im looking at buying a Solera RV topper but noticed you dont make one short enough for my slide out. So I was wondering if I could buy a longer one and then cut it down to meet my needs. Thanks

@TimZ Gotcha yea that is a tiny one. So our shortest option is the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000168104 which is 61". Yes there would be some overhang on either side of the slide, but it could be made to work as there are no obstructions on either side of the slide, and there is room for the brackets on the outer face of the slide. We would want at least 7" of clearance on either side of the slide. You may want to try reaching out directly to Lippert (who make Solera awnings). They may be able to offer you something more suited for your slide out size.
