Do You Carry Tires that Will Work on My Trailer that I will be Pulling on the Sand for Beach Cleanup

Updated 02/10/2025 | Published 02/04/2025

Question:

Hello, I am looking to purchase 8 single axle Sure-Trac trailers for a Client. The Client wants to use these trailers for beach cleanup and need tires that will allow them to operate on sand. Leaning on your expertise to see if you sell tires that would fit this usage? I have been advised the measurements of the standard tires we will have to replace are 225/75/15 on a 5 lug rim. They will go on a 3500 lbs. axle. Thank you for your help and guidance.

Hey David,

I heard back from our manufacturers and they do not make a tire specific to sand, the best option that we would have is the Kenda ST235/75R15 Radial Off-Road Trailer Tire - Load Range D # KE68JR, the 235 will make it a bit wider making it better for the sand, and it has a nice tread on it as well.

There are companies that make a sand tire which floats better than other tires. Since your customer is going to be on sand all the time, I would do a quick google search for "ST235/75R15 sand tires."

Please let me know how your search goes and what you went with.
