Can the individual balls be removed? If so , how?

Hey James! The individual balls can not be removed on the BulletProof Hitches Aluminum Adjustable 2-Ball Mount item # BPH47MR. The platform they are mounted on can be removed by taking the pins out holding it to the shank but the balls are permanently mounted.

The 2" ball has a 10,000 lbs weight capacity and the 2-5/16" ball a 14,000 lbs one. I have linked a review video below that will give you a walk through of this ball mount.

What truck are you looking to use this on and how much does your trailer weigh?

To apply grease to the top of a hitch ball with the part #58117 all you would need to do is apply a small amount to the top of the ball. The coupler will then push the grease around and spread it evenly on the ball.
