Is There Sway Control Device that Works without Weight Distribution

heres my set up I have a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500hd and I tow a 2025 Jayco Jay Flight SLX Baja empty weight is 3450 lbs. loaded is 4750 lbs. is it possible to buy a sway control without buying a WDH.

Hey Ed, yeah we have sway control devices that are separate from a weight distribution like the Reese Friction Sway Unit part # 83660 which works great.
Or if you want something a little fancier we have the Curt True Course part # C94VV which uses internal sensors to detect when sway is occurring and lightly applies the brakes to stop it before you'd even know it was happening.

Hey Ed, how did things go with the sway control for your Sierra and Jayco setup? Did the Reese or Curt option give you the stability you were looking for? Your update could make it easier for the next person towing a similar trailer.
