Hello Chris,
The equalizer is a great choice! When it comes to sway control it is top notch! When choosing the right weight distribution tongue weight is most important. I would go with the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW # EQ37100ET, and it will fit nicely in the 2" receiver on the back of your 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe. The 1,200 pound one you were looking at is going to be a little too stiff for you. I attached an interview that my buddy Brad did with a customer for you to check out, and an install video as well so you can get a good feel for the product.
After you get it all set up and go on your first trip, please let me know what you think of it. I love hearing the great difference it makes for our customers. Please feel free to include a picture as well as I love seeing where our customers like to explore.
Happy New Year, may 2025 bring you awesome adventures and new places to explore! From, your friends here at etrailer!

Hey Chris, how did the Equal-i-zer weight distribution system work out with your Airstream and Tahoe? It sounds like the 1,000‑lb setup was a better match for your tongue weight. Your feedback could really help others towing similar trailers.
