Were Cams of Reese Dual Cam III Upgraded from Previous Version
Published 11/17/2022 >
Question:
Is the cam component of this new hitch better than the old style cam unit? I have a 20 year old dual cam that is due for replacement for peace of mind and to assure nothing breaks. Thank you for your insight.

Expert Reply:
Yes, the cam of the Reese Dual Cam III part # RP65FR has been upgraded from models that were made 20 years ago. The brackets have also been upgraded and made to be a lot easier to install as well.
