Question:
Vehicle is 2021 chevy colorado. The video wasnt quite clear on the wiring. The black wire on the Vehicle is ground. It isnt used on my trailer connection to the truck I have an extra white wire. Does this go to a frame ground with a bolt or screw?

Hey Mel, thanks for reaching out. You are exactly right. The white wire with the ring terminal is the ground. Grab a self-tapping screw and ground it to the frame. Make sure you ground to good clean metal with no corrosion or paint.
