Question:
I have a Ford f150 tow vehicle. My tailgate hits the electric tongue jack motor housing on the trailer. Do you have an electric tongue jack where the motor housing faces away from the tow vehicle?

Hey Andrew there's no electric tongue jacks that'll have the motor facing towards the back but I've got a pretty easy solution for you. If you have a electric jack like item # EJ-3520-BBX or item # BD500199 depending on your mounting bracket you can just rotate your current jack to face another direction that's out of the way of your tailgate.
Another option is to use an extended ball mount like item # BH20. It is 13-1/4" long and has a 10,000 lbs capacity.

Hey Andrew, did rotating your electric jack or using the extended ball mount give your tailgate the clearance it needed? Knowing what worked might help others dealing with the same tight fit between their truck and trailer.
