Question:
I have a 2024 Entegra motorhome on the Ford F53 chassis. I plan to add a Tekonsha brake controller and will need the appropriate adapter for that chassis. I do not want to spice any wires under the dash. Which is the best adapter for this installation?

Hey Bob! Your 2024 Entegra was built on a 2023 Ford F-53 chassis and depending on what package you have you may have a brake controller port or you may have a bundle of wires that are labeled and tucked away. Additionally, some of the ports don't come wired up and if this is the case it'll be easier to just splice into the bundle. If you have the port it will be located on the left side of the steering column support as shown in the picture below. It will be gray and you will want to use the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers item # 3035-P.
The Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers item # 3035-P works with both the Prodigy P2 item # 90885 or the Prodigy P3 item # 90195 which are both excellent brake controllers.
If you do not have this port or it isn't wired up. You'll want to look down by the floor for a bundle of wires that looks like the picture below. The universal wiring harness included with both the Prodigy P2 item # 90885 or the Prodigy P3 item # 90195 will splice right into this.

Hey Bob, how did things go with the Tekonsha brake controller on your Entegra motorhome? Did the 3035-P adapter plug right into the port under the dash, or did you end up using the wire bundle instead? Your update could make it easier for others working with the same F-53 chassis.
